Hello Digitized

I'm trying to figure out what possibilities there are for my portraits. I enjoy doing portraits, but I want to take them further. I want to design them better and develop a narrative.  This is a rough digital sketch over. Photoshop allows me to be more bold and realize options faster. In the future, I really hope I can harness those bold decisions when I'm at the drawing board and not the computer.

Been a while!

Sorry its been a while people! I've been working on a big painting commission that's almost done and I've been doing freelance work for an App called Colorama. Nothing I can share just yet sadly. 

TAD started again this semester. Here is my first assignment for Figure class. 

1.5 hours. Chalk pastel on paper

Practicing using good shapes and my values. Its not perfect, but I got what I needed from it. 2 hour practice. pastel on paper.

Tangled Studies

Hi All. Its been a little while since I've posted anything. I've been doing a lot of freelance work lately and its nothing I can share sadly. I'm still doing work for Amused Pony Games. We're currently trying to push out as much imagery for a Beta test. AP wants to submit their game for next year's PAX showcase.
 I will have stuff to show in a few weeks. Until then, here are some Tangled Studies. 

Cloth studies

5x5" oil on canvas board. I realize now that some of these are confusing haha. From left to right: female in a shirt, middle shot of big cargo pants, nude model holding chiffon in front of her stomach, leather, close up of jeans, underwear. Cheers.

Work in Progress

12x14" oil painting. Still need to work on the forehead area and adjust the lighting on his left eye. Something is off.
